Index Music Festival makes its return to Deep Ellum after two successful years of the multi-genre, multi-venue event. Today the lineup has swelled to more than 90 national and local acts who will perform at the three-day fest, either on the main outdoor stage or indoors at legendary venues like Trees and Club Dada. Index has made a name out if itself in North Texas as the one festival you can always expect to keep growing and be better then the year before.
Headliners Local Natives, Future Islands, Odesza, Dawes and How to Dress Well are among the national acts scheduled to lead the weekend lineup, a co-mingling of indie, dance, hip hop and rock genres. Ther’s also some familiar North Texas faces taking the stage at the venues surrounding the same artsy neighborhood (AdD+, Spoonfed Tribe).
Because such a diverse lineup and multiple stages may be a bit confusing to plan, interactive calendar that lets you customize your daily schedule.
We are very excited to head home to North Texas and exploit the many pleasures Deep Ellum has to offer –a burger at angry dog or Irish coffee at Twilite Lounge, a stroll through the art-filled streets featuring work from Frank Campagna and many other local artists. Come for Index, stay for the neighborhood experience. Single and three-day passes are still available. See you tonight!
