Following the hugely successful opening reception of Los Angeles Artist, Blake Little’s show on March 7, Kopeikin Gallery will offer everyone an opportunity to meet the artist in person.  On Thursday March 26th at the Kopeikin Gallery, Blake Little will discuss his current series of work “Preservation” with writer, critic and curator Shana Nys Dambrot.  The Gallery will open at 6:30pm for viewing of the exhibition prior to the start of the talk at 7:15pm.

“Preservation” is a series of portraits where a variety of subjects are encased in Honey. The transformation changes, distorts and amplifies the human body, raising questions of immortality, physical perfection and repulsion. Little will also have copies of his Preservation monograph for purchase and signing at the the Gallery on Thursday, March 26.
