Ashley Armitage is a 21-year-old photographer from Seattle who loves to explore what it means to represent femininity through a woman’s viewpoint and not through a man’s fantasy. Her work focuses on highlighting the private lives and routines of girlhood in attempt to reclaim these activities in a positive light. Her work as a photographer consists mostly of gallery shows, but has been featured in Aftermaths Mag, Sticks and Stones Agency and The Pulp Zine along with numerous other outlets. Her newest editorial submitted exclusively to Nakid is ‘Summertime Suburbia‘ – the set was shot in California over summer break and It features her sister, Sydney Armitage, as the model and focus for the story.
