‘CALL MY LIFE’ – BLAIR ST. CLAIR – MUSIC VIDEO {NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS / ARTIST TO WATCH}

Indiana’s premiere drag queen, Blair St. Clair, did not make it to the top of VH1’s most beloved show by luck. As a Ru Paul Drag Race’s Season 10 contestant, the young performer wowed the masses by showcasing some of the most memorable and polished looks of the season. But her talents are far more gratifying than just looks, as we can hear from her latest musical project “Call My Life”. After facing a few unfortunate personal circumstances in her path she has come on top above it all, to bring us some of the most heartfelt musical contributions from the Ru Girl’s alumni. Her music video for ‘Call My Name’ is both sophisticated and inspirational; a coming of age and self-appreciation anthem that finds connections with the LGBTQ+ communities and everyone who has ever been afraid to express themselves.

“Call My Life is a mixture of different elements that have personally affected my growth and have helped me not only find but OWN my inner voice,” said Blair. “Now I’m using that voice a little more literally,” she continued, before adding: “I think of this album as a novel – each song is a chapter in my life and each lyric is one page closer to the end of this volume. Blair mentioned to Nakid.

St. Clair was recently recognized as a “Top 20 New Artist” by elite music platform VEVO following the release of her premiere single and music video, “Now or Never,” which has reached 1.7 million views in just a few weeks and was the youngest entertainer to have won the prestigious Miss Gay Indiana Pageant.  Her very first full length album, Call My Name, is now available on all platforms and includes “instant gratification” tracks “Now or Never” and “Call My Life.” So make sure to stream now and keep up with Blair via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
